Join fellow alumni and friends for a scenic countryside walk on Saturday 12th July, at 10:30am, starting from Oxford Train Station.

Led by alumnus Robin Simpson (1969), this Jubilee Walk follows a historic route inaugurated in 1985 by the Oxford Ramblers to mark the 50th anniversary of the Ramblers Association.

Our journey will take us from the Thames Riverbanks up to Boars Hill, where we will enjoy breathtaking views of the dreaming spires, famously celebrated by Matthew Arnold. Along the way, we will visit Jarn Mound, a viewpoint created by Sir Arthur Evans, and explore Oxford’s beautiful and historically rich countryside.

The walk is around ten miles long, concluding back at a pub near the station for a well-earned drink and conversation. Open to all fitness levels, this is a fantastic way to reconnect with Oxford and fellow alumni.
