Nick has been Principal of Linacre College since 2010. He currently also holds posts as Deputy Chair of the University’s Planning and Resource Allocation Committee, Chair of the University Buildings and Estates, and Chair of the University’s Development Panel. He has a DPhil in Plant Biology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education from the University of Oxford, an MA from Cambridge University and an MSc from the University of Aberdeen. He is a trustee of Hill End Outdoor Education Centre and chair of trustees for the Tertiary Education Scholarship Trust for Africa.

Oversees all aspects of student welfare, admissions and academic progress.

Responsible for the financial management of the College and the smooth running of its premises and activities.

Primary responsibility for managing the College’s property and land, insurances, environmental performance, purchasing and contracting, regulatory compliance, health, safety and security.

Promotes and monitors equality and diversity within the College. This includes, but is not limited to, matters relating to gender, race, sexual orientation, culture, ethnicity, and disability.

Melissa supports the welfare of students, staff and fellows at Linacre.

Marta is our College Accountant, responsible for fees, battels and payroll.

Verity supports support the Development Office with legacy fundraising.
